Milkweed or monarch observation details

I observed 30 common milkweed plants, but there were many more plants on the site. Out of the 30 plants I observed, there was one monarch egg on the bottom side of a leaf. I did not see any monarch caterpillars or butterflies. Milkweed plants are mixed in with other plant species. Grass around milkweed and other plants is kept short. Snails seen on some of the milkweed leaves Other insect species seen: A few red milkweed beetles, 1 spotted lanternfly nymph, 1 Japanese beetle
